We as a family really enjoyed our recent weekend stay at Spion Kop Lodge. It was a tranquil and beautiful environment to relax and de-stress.

I treated my parents to a stay here for their 30th wedding anniversary, and they loved it. A special thank you to Hester and the staff for making their weekend memorable.

Great few days - battle tour was fabulous (fantastic guide and even inspired a 12 year old to be interested in the ins and outs of the Boer war), horse riding in the nearby reserve plus the beautiful scenery. Also, food to die for in the restaurant!

Our accomdation was first class, the food and service excellent but the undoubted highlight was the tour of Spionkop. Raymond made history come alive, keeping us enthralled as he shared the stories behind the stories. I thoroughly recommend a trip to Spionkop Lodge!

This is the fourth time I have stayed here and the fact that I keep coming back speaks for itself!! Particularly well situated for the Boer and Zulu battlefields with the added advantage of Raymond and Alaister Herring as your guides.
